Laboratory Hardware Conditions

NECP laboratory focuses on numerical simulation and high-performance computing in nuclear physics research. To accomplish this, the laboratory applies a remarkable portfolio  of internal construction and external procurement. The Laboratory has successively purcha-sed computing platform:

1) A set of Dell computing clusters, a total of 90 nodes, each with 12 computing cores, for a total of 1080 cores. Among them, 48 nodes are 64G/Node, 32 nodes are 32G/Node, a  total of 4TB memory

2) A set of Inspur high-performance computing cluster, a total of 12 nodes, each node has 8 computing cores, each node has 16G memory, a total of 96 cores and 192G memory

3) 6 tower servers, 16 computing cores each, 32G memory

4) Task scheduling system, to achieve unified management and task scheduling of all   computing resources

5) 120 personal computers, for program development and network access of graduate students

6) High-performance private cloud system, can support 150 people working remotely.
