Yongping Wang, Assistant Professor, Master Supervisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University, “Rising-Star Talent” of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), received his bachelor's degree in engineering from Qian Xuesen Experimental Course, Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2013.From September 2016 to September 2018, he visited Purdue University and Argonne National Laboratory in the United States. In 2019, he earned the Ph.D. in nuclear science and technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University, and his doctoral research was named "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation" by the university. Neutron transport calculation methods for cores, shielding calculation methods, fast reactor calculation methods, and multi-physics coupling calculation methods are among his current research interests. he has worked on more than ten vertical and transversal projects; he has published more than 20 papers in domestic and international journals and conferences, including 12 SCI papers and four EI papers; and he has one patent. He is the editor of the Annals of Nuclear Energy special issue on the international conference PHYTRA5.
