On May 15, 2021, NECP's annual routine collective spring outing was held as scheduled. The event was carefully planned by first-year graduate students. The destination is Taiping National Forest Park, with more than 40 teachers and students participating.

Taiping National Forest Park is located in Hu County, Xi'an city. It belongs to the Qinling Mountains, with a maximum altitude of 3000 meters. It is famous for the sea of Bauhinia. Although the flowering period has passed and the rainy season has happened, it has not reduced the members' interest in playing. At about 10 a.m., everyone headed for the top of the mountain under the fine mountain rain. Stone terraces stretch all the way, accompanied by streams, ancient trees cover the sky and fallen English cover the ground. Pass through Zhongtan waterfall and Longkou waterfall, take a cableway for walking or hiking, and finally reach the most famous rainbow waterfall on the top of the mountain. Rainbow waterfall, with a drop of 160 meters and a height of 1811 meters above sea level, is a cliff hanging waterfall. The students who arrived here were all amazed and took pictures with the waterfall.

At about 2 pm, the members returned to the farmhouse at the foot of the mountain, had a meal and rest in the simple courtyard, and had a board game after dinner. The rain outside the eaves is numb, and the house is full of laughter. In the evening, everyone returned to school and ended the day.

This activity includes a tour of natural landscapes to relax after scientific research; It also takes into account the maintenance of team cohesion, enhances the feelings among NECP members and leaves good memories for all participants.
