Liangzhi Cao, male, born in February 1978 in Dangyang, Hubei Province, is a leading scholar, professor and doctoral supervisor of Xi'an Jiaotong University. He was selected into the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University in 2011, then he was selected into the youth science and technology nova program of Shaanxi province in 2012, won the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2015, and won the title of national talent in 2020. At present, he is the executive editor of Annals of Nuclear Energy, the international authoritative journal of nuclear energy, the deputy editor in chief of ASME J. Nuclear Engineering and Radiation Science, the member of the National Technical Committee 58 on Nuclear Energy of Standardization Administration of China, the deputy director of the Youth Working Committee of the Chinese Nuclear Society, the vice president and Secretary General of Shaanxi Nuclear Society, the editorial board of Nuclear Engineering and Design, and the member of the technical committee of the reactor physics department of the American Nuclear Society, Editorial board member of Nuclear Science and Engineering and director of China Nuclear Power. In recent years, he has presided over more than 10 national projects (including projects supported by the State Key Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Excellent Youth Scientists Fund, National Key R & D Program of China, subprojects of National Science and Technology Major Project, 863 subprojects, etc.). Published 7 monographs and teaching materials (including 1 English Monograph), and published more than 200 papers in domestic and international core journals, more than 100 of which have been recorded by SCI. 22 invention patents and 30 software copyrights have been authorized. In 2019, he won the Second Class Prizes of the National Technological Invention Award (2 / 6), and in 2021, he won the Long Service Award of the International Conference on Nuclear Engineering (ICONE).
